Cloyde Snook Gallery at ASC hosts Senior Exhibition, “Redefined”

The Cloyde Snook Gallery is pleased to present “Redefined,” a show depicting work from current senior art students. The work included in the show will be highly diverse, illustrating the distinct styles of art students with majors ranging from art education to graphic design.

The ten seniors have embraced their diverse media and styles by bonding together with the common goal of retaining individuality and making fine art their own. The show will include the works of seniors: Sandra Barbone, Kaitlyn Horton, Mary Johnston, Kristen Klein, Axel Koerner, Kelly Robinson, Lorena Schreiber, Crystal Sebastian, Chris Walker, and Caitlin Whitten. “All ten of us strive to redefine art based on our own distinctive personalities and values,” said Horton. “This individuality shines throughout our work, which should make for an eclectic and passionate exhibit.”

The show will include drawing, painting, ceramics, metalsmithing, photography, printmaking, and digital media. The exhibit will be held in the Cloyde Snook Gallery located in the ASC Art Building and will open on Monday, April 21 with a closing reception on Friday, May 9 from 4 to 6 pm. Music and Mexican food will be offered to all who attend. There is no charge for admission and everyone is welcome to come and help send off these talented seniors in style.
